The 7-S model was developed by the management consultancy McKinsey and explains the elements that describe a company and make it successful. A distinction is made between soft and hard factors. The hard factors are strategy, structure and systems, the soft factors are skills, people, style and shared values. The goal of the 7-S model is to analyze all seven factors and to develop an actual and target state.
